About the Teachers
Katie Jeffrey started dancing with the Flood McAuley School in Bishopbriggs at 5 years of age before going on to train with the Boyle School, Glasgow until 1999. At 16 years of age Katie turned to show dancing when she joined “Lord Of The Dance”. During the next two years Katie danced in America and toured Europe with Michael Flately in “Feet of Flames”. Following this experience she went on tour with “Cherish The Ladies” before returning to competitive dancing.
Katie has won numerous competitions throughout her dancing career and has been highly placed in all major championships. She hung up her competitive shoes in 2004 and is now a qualified T.C.R.G. registered with An Coimisiun.

Sharon McFadden started her dancing career at the age of 6 when, following in her mother’s footsteps she joined the McLaughlin School of Irish Dancing in Glasgow. For the next nine years Sharon achieved success in solo and team dancing competing in major competitions in both the UK and USA. In 2000 she began dancing for Sharon Taylor where she continued competitive dancing for a further 7 years.
In January 2007 Sharon qualified as a T.C.R.G. and has been teaching along with Katie ever since.
